FANTASTIC!!!! I am so excited about this I can't believe it. Please count me in. I am anticipating a date in March so a January workshop is wonderful. Please let me know when it is ready. Thanks Tina.

Hi everyone ... I recommend attending a workshop..it gives you insight on how to prepare for your CPNE .... PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE ... last but not least have a mentor you can call when you are at CPNE to help you cope with your stress and anxiety level ...to get you grounded...My mentor was Tina Logan ...she became my rock that helped me through it when I felt like a failure ... without her words of wisdom I really don't know if I would have gotten through it ... So I thank-you Tina from the bottom of my heart ...you are one in a million human being .. your husband must be so proud of you .. in speaking of your husband ..I want to thank-you Mr. Logan for being patient with us every time you would hear your phone ring and sharing Tina with us all ...

Tina Logan's passion for helping students pass the CPNE comes straight from her heart. Her intricate knowledge and respect for CPNE process comes from her own experience as well as from coaching future RNs to succeed at this challenging examination. Tina has each aspect of the CPNE covered. From care plans to overriding areas of care to the scared critical elements, Tina Logan will guide you through preparation as no one else can. I have never seen anyone care so much about helping students prepare for the CPNE. I highly recommend her workshop to prepare you for success.
Liz Naftaniel LPN future RN
Tina Logan has a passion for helping others succeed. She has not only helped me, but many student to pass the CPNE. The difference between her and other teachers, is she doesn’t want you to just get through the cpne, She wants you to have the confidence, knowledge and determination to go there and come out with an understanding of why and how you passed. She has spent countless hours teaching herself the content needed to pass, and she proved this to me, when I would call her for help and she would lay out the details and help me for any amount of time needed to understand and know the material. I never walked away confused. Tina’s workshop will prove beneficial to everyone. She has the knowledge to teach the content, but more importantly she has the determination to help you succeed. I highly recommend you take the time to talk to Tina, and go to her workshop. You will not be disappointed! Good Luck!

I would like to take a moment to write about my experience with CPNE on August 11-13, 2006 and the role that Tina Logan played in my success.
Actually, Tina entered into my academic studies right from NC1 back in July of 2005. I met her shortly after deciding to take the plunge and pursue an RN degree through Excelsior College. From the start, Tina was always there offering advice and encouragement through all aspects of my independent study. She was further along in the program than I was and had already walked a mile in the shoes I was walking in then. Her advice was always timely, accurate and from the heart. She truly wanted me to succeed in my dream of becoming an RN.
The advice and assistance continued as I prepared for CPNE. I knew it was my responsibility to do my own studying and my own preparation for CPNE, but she was always there checking in with me making sure I understood everything and was always willing to take the time to answer questions or help soothe frayed nerves! As CPNE approached Tina checked in with me frequently, reviewing practice care plans and helping me fine tune my PCS documentation and areas of care and lab practice.
I made it through CPNE with no repeats on the first try! I owe much of that success to Tina and her dedication to helping myself and others to achieve the same dream she herself has achieved. She has been instrumental in the success of so many students! She has a heart of gold and a tireless dedication to helping others that is unwavering.
To any who may be thinking about attending her new workshops...GO FOR IT!!! She may be the new kid on the block as far as CPNE workshops go, but she's been around for a long time and has been quietly helping the masses to get through their course of studies and through CPNE. She has an amazing record of success with all the students she has helped through CPNE! She will offer you a comprehensive review and teach you perfect practice for your lab stations and PCS's. You will leave her workshop with the knowledge and skills you need to be successful with your CPNE! She may be the newest kid on the CPNE block, but she's going to quickly become the BEST kid on the block!

Northeastern CPNE Workshop Staff,
Thank you for making this workshop available. I would like to take this opportunity to present my experience.
It would be my last attempt to pass the CPNE. I had to do all I could to give myself every advantage. This test had to become top priority above all else, and I would make it that. One month before I tested, I would take a leave from work without pay, just to study. I would plan each day with scheduled times, 8am-10am, review questions-11am-1pm, labs, math, PCS stations, 2pm-4pm, care plans, critical elements, grid…..I would go to the eye care center and have my glasses professionally cleaned and frames tightened. The day before leaving for Wisconsin, I would schedule a one hour message to reduce stress and tension. Yes, I did things differently this last time, but the most important thing I did was to attend the Northeastern CPNE Workshop.
This workshop was all inspiring and motivating. The support received far exceeded my expectations. The skill, knowledge and professionalism demonstrated by Tina Logan and staff were exceptional. This workshop taught a multitude of skills, like how to use and set up a grid, along with the concept behind its use, how to time your writing skills and prioritize your information. I learned how to use Carpenito-Moyet and what to concentrate on when using it. There was review of Critical Elements and daily planning exercises to keep your timing and cognitive focus on track. These elements of focus are absolutely essential if you are to achieve your goal, the goal of passing the CPNE. This test is not to be taken lightly. It is stressful and difficult beyond belief. Control stress with confidence, skill and knowledge all obtained by attending a strong workshop. I can honestly say that if I had not attended this workshop, I would not have passed. Yes I am now a promoter of the Northeast CPNE Workshop. It has allowed me to obtain my goal of graduating Excelsior College with a degree in Applied Science. My best scenario is this: CPNE=$4775-(donation to Excelsior College) Northeastern CPNE Workshop=$500 plus expenses Passing the CPNE=…..”PRICELESS”……..

I highly recommend East Coast Tina's workshop, it was the most incredible comprehensive, knowledgeable, organized, clarifying, informative helpful, amazing learning experience. For those of you who are preparing for CPNE, I suggest that you apply immediately to her workshop. Even if you have been to one of the other workshops, you can bet that you did not receive nearly the same information as hers, if you do not go, you will loose out on some great tips, organizing strategies, and knowledge in general as to how to conquer the CPNE. (I did it just 2 months later).
I came home totally exhausted and overwhelmed with information but not sure what to do with it. So I put together a plan as "outlined" by Tina, I set up my labs, I already knew my CE's and please, to get the most out of her workshop, please know your CE's and please have read the EC Manual 2 times or you will loose out because you won't understand the strategies, watch the RUE and EC videos and know how to write a care plan. So I had to start working on my care plans and documentation and putting it all together with the GRID (actually did save me on my last PCS, I almost forgot to chart, "chest rises and falls evenly.") but because I used the GRID and my mnemonics, I saw just prior to handing in my paper work that I had omitted that statement about symmetry in my respiratory assessment assignment.I did those labs every night and I wrote the CE's or recited them everyday and I attacked those care plans with Carpenitos.
I'm not sure how we managed to go from 8:00 AM until 11:00 PM three nights in a row, I actually had a melt down around 10:30 on the last night, we got a good laugh out of it. This is a serious workshop but not at all intimidating nor are you put on the spot, but you need to be prepared or you will just be wasting your time. Do NOT take for granted the lab situations, it is totally different when you are being scrutinized, watched and timed, even by friendly fire. Those almost daily tasks become foreign when you are being tested.
I truly do not know how anyone manages to get through the CPNE without mnemonics or the GRID. I depended on those while under the stress of CPNE and I also felt like I had a "Comfort Zone" because I could just take a look at my GRID and know what I did or didn't do or what I needed to do or not.
Just know that if you are truly prepared and knowledgeable you can conquer CPNE, because you have knowledge you have confidence and your confidence will override your nervousness.
I thank you Tina for a GREAT experience and all the perks that come with it.
In true friendship,
Jacki
I had the privilage of attending Tina's workshop a week prior to my CPNE date. I have to say that it was an enlightning experience. Having the opportunity to spend time and learn from others that are working toward the same goal makes a difference. Being critqued by Tina and the two other women who attended the workshop, showed me where I needed to concentrate my efforts. I was than able to practice the 'EC way' and get it right! Tina's workshop played a huge part in helping me achieve my goal. It gave me the confidence and knowledge I needed to succeed. What a unique experience . I highly recommend this workshop to everyone!

Tina Logan's CPNE workshop was by far the greatest "secret weapon" I came across for studying for the CPNE. The small class sizes make room for all of the one on one attention you could possibly want or need. She breaks the careplans down to an easy to comprehend level and does her best to make sure you are catching on. You are observed and critiqued by her as well as the other students in the workshop during the pcs practice which really brings to your attention different things you should focus on. You also receive all the lab practice time your heart desires. Once the workshop is over, her commitment to you doesn't end. She calls to make sure the studies are going ok and to answer questions and offer advice during the time leading up to your CPNE date. On that oh so stressful weekend she also calls daily to check on you and attempts to help you keep that stress level in check. After successfully passing the CPNE November 4, 2007 in Plano, Tx, she was the first person I called and I believe she was more excited than me at the moment. :p My excitement kicked in when I was 2 minutes from home and knew they couldn't take it back. I'm eternally grateful to her for her dedication to her students and commitment to helping people she has never met reach their goals. Misty Richards

Dear Readers,
I owe the confidence in my success to Tina Logan. I cannot believe how complete she made my preparation, especially when I thought I was more than prepared to take my CPNE the 2nd time. After attending her workshop, I discovered so many more little things that I had missed. At first, I was very angry at my self but then I took all her tips and info she had to offer and went in the CPNE with a completely different attitude- an attitude of confidence that I was armed with the necessary knowledge to pass and I DID IT! I recommend her workshop to everyone who is taking their CPNE exam. It is a 'must-have' experience because no matter how much you prepare, you will be surprised with her Preparedness! Moreover, she doesnot treat you like a client, she treats you like a family and makes the extre effort to show that she genuinely cares. she understands exactly what you are going through because she was once there in our shoes. I recommend her workshop more than any other workshops out there... including excelsior! her gestures of calling me at 5:30 am for a pep talk through out the weeknd and telling me that it's ok to be nervous and that CPNE is not over until it's over, to be confident but not over confident. I wish I had known her and attended her workshop for my first CPNE ! I am now a GN and I consider myself priviliged to know someone as wonderful, hardworking, and caring as Tina.
Sincerely,
Mona.

"I took Tina Logan's workshop on the advice of another person who was also preparing for the CPNE. I went into the workshop not knowing what to expect. I was overwhelmed at the amount of information I didn't know. Tina's workshop definitely prepared me for the CPNE. Her information on the CPNE process and care plans was invaluable. If you are planning to take your CPNE, my advice would be to listen to Tina's words, take advantage of the equipment she brings with her, and TAKE NOTES! I passed the CPNE the first time, and I would like to attribute that success to Tina.

CPNE April 2008
Hi there,
Just wanted to give a shout out to all of you currently preparing or those who will soon be preparing for the CPNE. I know it's extra money out of your pocket to go to a workshop but I have to tell you it's money well spent. I went to Tina's workshop in March. I felt pretty good about my clinical skills but my care planning was horrible. I talked to a few people that had attended Tina's workshop. They were confident that I would leave Tina's (NECPNE) workshop equipped with the skills and the knowledge necessary to conquer the CPNE. I was hesitant about spending money on a workshop because the CPNE alone costs so much.. I had cut my hours at work to prepare for the CPNE and couldn't imagine how I could possibly get my funds in order to attend the workshop. Then I thought to myself...Tina has a very high success rate. Over 90% of students who take her workshop pass the CPNE on the first try. If I didn't take a workshop and if I didn't pass then I'd be out more money in the long run. Long story short...I went to her workshop. I left Tina's workshop with the ability to make a decent care plan. The mnemonics she gave us for the critical elements were awesome. In addition Tina was available to discuss my care plans and answer my questions over the phone in the weeks leading to my CPNE. She even checked in on my a couple of times during my CPNE weekend to see if I had any questions and to offer support. I was impressed with what all I got for my investment and let me tell you that it really paid off. I'm proud to say that I joined the ranks of those who attended Tina's NECPNE workshop that passed the CPNE on the first try.
Hope this helps some of you who are trying to decide if a workshop is right for you.
All my best,
Laurie, GN

Well, it is simple, if you want to pass the CPNE you have to study hard, know your skills and critical elements, and GO TO TINA LOGAN's NECPNE workshop. This is time and money well spent. She will challenge you to become the nurse that you need to be and teach you the skills needed to be successful at the CPNE. You will leave the workshop with sooo much information and practice time running through actual patient care situations. Your biggest weapon against slaying the CPNE monster is to arm yourself with knowledge and you can do it. Everyone I talk to who is preparing for the CPNE, I say go to Tina Logan's workshop and you won't regret any of it. Her pass rate speaks for itself 100% !!!!

CPNE Manfield Ohio June 2008
I attended Tina Logan's NECPNE workshop in Pennsylvania at the end of May 2008, just two weeks before my CPNE in Mansfield, Ohio. I was absolutely blown away by the dedication Tina shows to her students! She brings a wealth of expertise and experience to the table, both as an RN and as an Excelsior CPNE success story. She provides all the equipment you'll need to practice; just be prepared to put in some long, long hours! We went from 0800 to 2300 or 2315 the first two nights, and we were all crispy (in a good way!) by 2100 on the third night. It was a wonderful experience to immerse myself in study and PCS/sim lab practice with Tina and my classmates. Tina keeps the class size small, so you'll get the attention that you need from her, as well as ample opportunity to practice areas of care and lab stations, hands-on, with your fellow students. I felt fairly confident about my grasp of careplans and areas of care, but the way Tina approaches documentation and charting was SO helpful to me! I passed my CPNE on the first try two weeks later, only failing one PCS for not properly IDing my patient ... and was that on the grid that Tina taught me to create, and part of the mnemonics I learned from her? Of course it was! I regrouped and finished strong. I am so grateful that I attended Tina's workshop ... it was worth every penny and every minute of time, because passing the CPNE is priceless! Tina is truly passionate about seeing each and every student succeed, and you'll carry that passion forward to your successful weekend.

Hi Future G.N.s
I just wanted thank Tina for helping me past the CPNE. I know I would not have pasted with out her workshop. I came to the workshop prepared in my mind to past the test since I got home Fri from the workshop and left Sun to take the test. I thought I was prepared but, was missing the organization and the actual follow through from beginning to the end of a PCS. The Grid and following each letter for the actual care and documetation is the difference in passing or failing. I wish everyone the best and my advice would be keep your cool and check and recheck before handing anything to CE.,/p>
Did I mention I did not have to retake anything.
Thanks again Tina

I recommend Tina Logan's workshop to everyone preparing for CPNE. When I first got my CD from Excelsior about how to prepare for the CPNE I printed it out and thought how in the world am I ever gonna get all this. I had read several things about how wonderful Tina's workshop was so I registered for her August workshop. Tina sent me a bunch of info on things to know for CPNE. When I went to the workshop I was amazed. I learned so much in the 3 days there and got myself organized. She helped us with understanding the critical elements, proper wording for charting and how to write care plans. We had alot of time to practice the labs and be critiqued too. I also met a group of wonderful women while I was there who could all relate how I was feeling about prepping for CPNE! October came and I headed to Albany for my CPNE. I was a nervous wreck. I passed with flying colors and I have to give THANKS to Tina and her workshop. I could have never passed otherwise. At clinical, The CA said my care plans and charting were "phenominal" and asked me how I prepared . The CA said both she and the CEs were impressed with the format and thoroughness of the exam and paperwork. I told her all about Tina and her wonderful workshop and how much help and support I received from Tina. I would DEFINATELY recommend this workshop to everyone preparing for CPNE. It was the best!!! THANKS TINA FOR DOING SUCH A WONDERFUL THING FOR ALL OF US!!!!

I attended Tina Logan's workshop in September of '08 and it was an excellent experience! I passed my CPNE with one lab repeat and NO PATIENT CARE REPEATS!! And that's thanks to Tina. She has a very comprehensive and demanding workshop. Come prepared to work hard and be challenged. She starts at 0800 and goes until 2300 and uses the time very well. If I'm gonna spend the time and money to go to a workshop, I might as well be spending as much time as possible actually learning! Tina has a wealth of knowledge and she shares it with you. Once you're done, you have the tools you need to go home and touch up on the areas that you need to. She has everything you need as far as the skill labs. Everything is set up almost exactly as it will be in the CPNE. BUT, she doesn't stop there. You can continue to send her careplans up to your date. And she was always available by phone. That was very reassuring. She picked my care plans apart until they were perfect. The other thing that I liked was everything was included. There was not a single thing that she tried to sell you at the end of the workshop like some others do. Do not hesitate to attend Tina Logan's workshop. You'll be glad you did when you hear those magic words "Congratulations, YOU PASSED!"Mark Dewey, GN/EMTP
Hello Tina, this is Cynthia from your July workshop, I know this is a little late since I took my cpne and passed the first time in august, but I still want to extend my gratitude to u for giving myself and others a wonderful workshop. Your workshop helped me stay on track with everything I needed for the cpne. The comprehensiveness u gave us throughout that three days was the best training I needed to pass this exam. You helped me build my confidence, and skills in every area of care needed for this exam, your word of encouragement helped me stay focused throughout the exam. I am so grateful for your time and dedication, because it was because of your dedication and Gods help that helped me stay calm and focused during my cpne. I passed all my labs without a single repeat, and I passed all my three pcs without any repeat. Everyone that saw me, told me I look so prepared for this exam, so for that I want to say a big thank u, for giving me such a wonderful workshop. May God continue to bless u and strengthen u, as u reach out to people by helping them.
Yours truly,

I was able to successfully complete the CPNE exam in Utica, NY in September 2008. I attended Tina Logan's July 2008 workshop, this was my first time taking the CPNE and didn't have to repeat a lab or PCS, Thanks to Tina. If I had to pick one word to describe her workshop it would be "Intense". This workshop will leave no mysteries, you will know what is expected of you at the CPNE. Good luck to those who have yet to take the exam and congratulations to those who have completed it. Thanks again Tina you are truly a great person that cares about her students.

I passed my CPNE this weekend at Plano Medical Center in Texas with the help of God Almighty and one of his true angels Tina Logan. Please take what I am about to say to the very depths of your hearts. I am a father of five and believe me there was always a priority that came along the way that slowed me down but there was always that light at the end of the tunnel. I finally became CPNE eligible this year. Tina immediately took me under her wing (Mother Hen) and provided me with ALL the tools I needed to pass CPNE. Tina's heart and soul and is bigger than anyone I EVER MET in my life. She was relentless .From day one with her workshop she is always there to help you with EVERY question that you have and with every answer came along another question to help challenge your mind even further which thank God she did because during the CPNE patients health status change from minute to minute and from report to report . I remember in the begging just writing generic care plans and Tina would help me really individualize them even further to fit my patients true needs which is what is going to happen to you when you go to CPNE. There are so many things that I would like to share with you about her workshop and her wisdom but I would be writing here forever. I would not have passed my CPNE without Tina's workshop!!! I felt like I had Tina with me during my entire CPNE. I would hear her words over and over as I took each step. Out of seven of us only two passed. As for the site the CA and the CE'S were WONDERFUL!! They really wanted you to pass they don't want to fail you, you fail yourself if you are not prepared. Tina words cannot describe the love and appreciation that me and my entire family have for you. Thank you for all the countless hours you spent with me until I got it right! God bless you and your family.

2008 November Clinical NY
I attended the NECPNE workshop in Pennsylvania in November 2008. This was just 1 week before my CPNE Albany NY. I passed my CPNE on the first try one week later, with NO REPEATS!!! I am so glad that I attended Tina's workshop ... it was worth every penny and every minute of time. I was worried I wasn’t going to be prepared, but Tina put the icing on the cake for me and she was on top of me and encouraging all the way through. I have said on the EPN and will say here, Tina recommends that you attend her workshop 6-8 wks before your CPNE, but my recommendation is as soon as you submit your CPNE paperwork and receive your EC Study Guide CD, you must schedule yourself in the next available NECPNE Workshop. The study guide is overwhelming and therefore can be discouraging. Tina will put EVERYTHING INTO PERSPECTIVE for you. She is NOT out to rip you off or to sell you a bunch of stuff after getting you there. She is truly dedicated to helping YOU PASS.
Tina is more than dedicated to her students! She is an Excelsior College Graduate who has endured the CPNE BEAST and survived the same as you will if you put in the time and dedication. She provides all the equipment you'll need to practice the labs and gives plenty of careplan preparation. Her workshop is only 3 days long, BUT is jam packed from sun up to well into the late hrs of the night with a world of information. The class sizes are small, so you'll get the attention that you need.
I have been wanting to send this testimonial, but I went and scheduled my NCLEX for only 5 wks after my CPNE on Dec 23, 2008. And I PASSED at 75 questions!!! YEAH!!! So now I am finally letting you all read what I have to say about Tina Logan and the NECPNE! Schedule yourself! You won’t regret it.

I took Tina's workshop in December, five weeks before my date for the CPNE. Even though I had been studying before the workshop, Tina brought it all together for me and made it make sense! Care planning was broken down into doable steps and explained in a way that I was able to make the diagnosis patient specific. Her continued support and feedback extended after the workshop up to the CPNE weekend. I was able to do care plan revisions at the CPNE with confidence and not get rattled! Her moral support through the whole process was invaluable! Tina is there whenever and however you need her!!!
Thanks to Tina, I was able to pass the CPNE on my first try with NO repeats!!!!

Think of Tina as a house. She gives you a wonderful foundation that you can either build on and pass the CPNE OR you can choose to wing the CPNE based on your years of LPN experience and fail... it is all up to you! Take her information and practice. Know your elements. Submit careplans daily- that way when you are at the CPNE you can look at the cardex and they pop right out at you! Tina was a tremendous help. I will forever be thankful for her support.

"I attended Tina Logan's Workshop three months before I took the CPNE of which I passed on the first shot. The workshop was intense, and a lot of information, perhaps intimidating at first glance. But after a few minutes with Tina, you know that this women knows her stuff and will explain everything to you. I found this workshop invaluable to my success at CPNE at Faxton St. Lukes Hospital in Utica New York on March 13th-15th. It was Tina's enthusiasm and patience that I feel this workshop was a success. She has a passion for helping people attain their goals of becoming an RN, and puts 100% of herself into each and every student who attends." Thank you so much Tina!
Sincerely,

I have spent a lot of money on resources in preparing for my CPNE but I have to say the best investment I made was Tina Logan’s Northeast CPNE Workshop! Tina provides a learning environment that is designed not only to help you through the CPNE but actually ignite your brain into critical thinking (an absolute must for complications that can arise during the CPNE). I haven’t been to any other workshops, but I can say I don’t think there is any other that is so affordable where the instructor will keep working with you after the workshop is over seeing you through the entire experience! Preparing you not only for CPNE, but teaching the skills and critical thinking that is required to begin your new career as an RN! I ran into many stressful situations during my CPNE and honestly feel that had it not been for Tina’s insight and instruction I might not have made it through my first time without repeats. This was one of the biggest hurdles of my life, I’m just so glad I had Tina there to help me through!

I first heard about Tina on the Rue mentor connection. Tina was answering everyone’s questions and was always so positive. I found out Tina had a workshop and was sure this was the one I was going to attend because everyone who attended raved about Tina and how good the workshop was. I chose to attend on Jan 8th 2009 because I was calculating a cpne date around the beginning of May. I ended up getting my date at the airport on my way to Tina’s workshop because I called MPAC to see where they were at on the scheduling list. My date was April 3, 4, 5 2009 and now I really had to learn when I got to the work shop. The workshop was wonderful and Tina was an excellent teacher! Tina is a person who is very passionate about preparing her students for cpne and from the time you sign up for a workshop until your weekend of cpne she will correct your care plans and charting making sure you are ready for that 2000 dollar plus weekend. She works you hard at the workshop because there is so much to learn and you will go home with your head spinning but it does all come together. My cpne was in Madison WI at Meriters hospital and it was a very positive experience. The CA and CE’s were kind and caring and if you go prepared and keep your nerves intact you will pass. Thank you so much Tina Logan for all you do for your students.

Passed CPNE, Racine, WI – May 2009
I met Tina Logan on the Rue website. She was pursuing her nursing degree and I had just begun the journey, but I knew from her posts that she knew her stuff. She was a helpful student and always directed other students to the notes posted on the site and had a wonderful ability to answer our questions. So many of us had no clue how to go about getting a distance learning degree and she took away the mystery by sharing her knowledge.
When I heard Tina who had passed her CPNE on the first try was going to do workshops to help students prepare for the CPNE, I knew I didn’t need to look any further for my “teacher”. Let me preface by saying up until six months ago, I had only worked in a physician’s office and had not been a floor nurse since I went through LPN school when I was in my 20’s. I am now 57, so you do the math! I knew if I had any prayer of passing this exam I needed to get myself back to direct patient care, so when my hospital had an opening for an LPN (which they hardly ever do); I left my DREAM job as a clinical coordinator to start as an emergency room nurse. The second thing I did was send Tina Logan my workshop fee for her January 2009 class.
Tina’s workshop was an intense weekend of breaking down the study guide, explaining the critical elements and working with her mnemonics. Tina’s mnemonics are wonderful! They were tough for me to master, but they were the key to my charting and I knew if I would simply follow her mnemonics I could chart. She has carefully developed the words so you will NOT miss a critical element and the buzz words are included. For the past month I would write my mnemonics at least once a day. They were my saving grace this past weekend when I did my grid. I hardly had to think about them, I just wrote them down and I knew if I followed my grid as Tina had taught in her class I would pass my CPNE.
Right after our January class, Tina started a care plan group and she invited us to join. This was the other key to my passing the CPNE. I have never done a care plan until I went to Tina’s workshop. My only wish was that I could have started her care plan class BEFORE I went to the workshop. Had I had done that; the last 4 months would have been a little less stressful for me. Tina knows her care plans. She would send out a patient scenario and I would set my timer and see if I could do the two care plans and my grid in 30 minutes. I would send the care plan to Tina and with her red pen; she would share with me what I needed to change. I want you to know I would also send the same care plan to EC and most of the time, I would get “your submitted care plans are fine”. Tina would go one step farther and explain to me WHY saying something else would be better. I was learning from Tina and trust me; it all paid off this past weekend. There were weeks when I didn’t want to send a care plan to Tina because I wanted it to just be “fine”, but I kept sending them and she kept teaching me right up to four days before my CPNE.
So far, Tina has had a 100% pass rate on her January class. We are all first time CPNE candidates and I think that says a lot about Tina’s class, her techniques and her total devotion to helping her students pass on the first try. Remember, this clinical weekend is an expensive one. Don’t trust that you know what you need to pass this exam. This is not just a nursing exam, it’s an Excelsior Exam and we perform on THIS exam the way Excelsior says is gospel. Tina Logan will show you how to do it the EC way. She is up to date with the changes from the college and she is constantly tweaking her workshop and care plan information to reflect those changes. You can be the best nurse your facility employs but that does not mean you can pass this exam. Let Tina be your lifeline – she is the best!

CPNE April 2009
My success with Tina began in her workshop. I learned more in 3 long days than I did in a month of studying alone. Her workshop was organized; her equipment was current along with current EC Guidelines. Tina’s workshop offers smaller groups’ giving you more one on one attention in those areas’s that you need it the most. After the workshop, she helped with more care planning and critiquing. I was building more confidence each and every day with Tina’s help and her encouragement. She wanted me to be the best student (“CPNER”) that I could be. Her motto was “Knowledge is the power”.
Mock
A few weeks after the workshop, I enrolled in her MOCK CPNE. Who knew my hands would shake more in the MOCK trial than at the CPNE? Tina was my CE, I had live patients, did my assessments, charting, care plans…. The reason for my success had to do with the setting of this MOCK being a duplicate to the actual one. Everything I practiced here, I used learning from my mistakes and weakness’s, making corrections to succeed in the actual CPNE, which was done with no PCS repeats!

I had worked for three years studying in every spare minute that I had to take the Excelsior tests. I had finally finished all of my prerequisite courses and had one HUGE hurdle in front of me - the CPNE. I did research on this test and discovered how incredibly difficult this examination was going to be. I knew that I needed some type of instruction, and the more research I did,the more I knew I needed a workshop. I looked into every possible workshop offered for this test, and had finally setteled on one....but didn't have a great feeling about it. I wasn't impressed with the material that I had ordered to help me in my studies. And I only had the money to take one workshop, so I knew I better pick the best one. I kept studying for this CPNE, wandering ,"how am I going to learn all the nitty-gritty details of this test?" Then I found.....the NECPNE Workshop. I signed up for her workshop, received some study material via e-mail and regular mail and thought, "YES!!!! This is exactly what I have been looking for!" I went to the workshop, which was WONDERFUL. I've talked with people that have gone to other workshops, and they all said the workshops weren't bad, just didn't have everything that they needed to know to pass the CPNE. Then when I told them I went to East Coast Tina's workshop, they said, "oh, yeah, I've heard that's really good." And then I told them how great it was......Lectures on all of the areas of care, lab practice and critique time, care planning review....literally EVERYTHING you need to pass. And I don't think I could have gotten through the planning phase without the experience from the Care planning Group...that in and of itself is priceless....no exaggeration. Add to all of this Tina's emotional support and genuine care and concern for her each one of her students...and my prep for this test was as painless as could be expect. After my CPNE was done, my CA told me that I obviously came well-prepared and knew my stuff....all thanks to Tina and her workshop. I will forever be grateful to Tina, and because of her, I am now a GN!!!!!

Do you want to pass the CPNE? I mean, do you REALLY want to pass it? Because if you do, you should take Tina Logan's NECPNE Workshop. Tina gives you all the tools you need to be successful at the CPNE. At the workshop she has the lab stations set up almost identically to how they will be at the real CPNE. She gives you ample time during the workshop to experiment with the labs. She goes through each Area of Care and gives you the most current information on what and how you will need to complete them. She can handle almost any "what if" you throw at her and if she can't then she finds out. (She is excellent about finding out any changes Excelsior makes and letting her students know.) Tina has patented mneumonics that are AMAZING. They will see you through the CPNE when your nerves are rattled like they have never been before! I think most importantly Tina teaches you how to do the paperwork the Excelsior way. I am talking about the Care Plans, the charting and the Evaluation Phase of the CPNE. The importance of these and the incredible detail required are totally under emphasized in the CPNE Study Guide. Tina shows you how to set up a GRID and how to organize your PCS Recording form so that you WILL be successful and remember everything you have to do at your CPNE. Tina sees you through up until your CPNE date with her weekly care plan assignments and critiques. She evaluates your charting and your Evaluation Phase paperwork. She challenges you with quizzes, calculations, scenarios and motivates you as you see student after student pass the CPNE with her guidance. I know she calls it the NECPNE workshop, but I came from the south west and it was worth every dollar! No matter where you live, you can't go wrong with this workshop. I see this workshop as like buying insurance for the CPNE. I passed my CPNE with no repeats on labs or PCSs and you can too!

Sept 2009 York Pa CPNE
In Sept 2009 I passed the CPNE© with no repeat labs or PCS's. That would not have been possible without having attended Tina Logan's NECPNE workshop. And when I say workshop, I am selling the whole package short. In the end it is so much more than just a “workshop”. Even before you show up for your first day of the workshop she sends you a well prepared workbook to provide you with a guideline for focusing your studies. She provides information for drug and feeding calculations, information about the lab skills stations, and provides you with mnemonics for every critical element for every overriding, required, and assigned AOC's, all for you to build your knowledge base before you get to Wilkes-Barre. And don't forget the care plans. This workbook also has the rules for being able to generate care plans that no CE will be able to fail. The workshop is 3 days of intensive preparation. You will be busy from 8 in the morning to 10 or 11 at night. But you will be excited. She keeps your motivation high. After all the CPNE© is not easy but everyone of us wants to pass. She provides all the necessary information and helps polish all of your skills to make sure you are ready to pass the CPNE©. She will go over every critical element, she will provide physical examples of how to perform AOC's and she will teach you how to do care plans and charting. If it all was to end there, it would be well worth the money. It doesn't end there. She will continue to work with you on care plans and charting after the workshop, and as your date gets closer she will focus her attention on you as her priority. She will answer any CPNE© question, no matter how looney it may be. She understands. She was also in our place a few years ago. She also had to take and pass the CPNE©. Her class sizes are kept small purposely to be able to give better individualized attention where needed. For me alone the care plan and evaluation phase instruction was worth it. I had no experience in this area as a respiratory therapist, and I know if I had attempted to do the CPNE© without Tina's workshop, I would have failed. I didn't have the care plan skill. Tina gave that to me. After my CPNE© my CE's and CA all told me how impressed with how prepared I was. After you attend this workshop, you will have the tools to be that prepared also. Good luck.
Thank you Tina!

Yelena’s CPNE in Utica NY 9/2009
Hi everyone! I passed my CPNE this weekend with no repeats. A lot of student failed in lab on wound station because abdominal pad was very tricky. I suggest everyone to check wound station supplies during 15 minutes orientation. It is plenty of time for check all stations but I was particulary interested in wound station. Checked all suply, opened the wound. I even packed the wound during those 15 minutes. For IV Med I had 38gtts/min so practise this rate cause a lot of sudents get this rate. My IV push was 2ml over 1 minute. I had to do insulin injection total 12 units, very easy station just don't forget to roll insulin. Supply was great no problems with siringes nor gloves. CEs were great. Very professional and very helpful especially if they see that you know your stuff. They really want you to pass. I tested in Utica. Great place especially if you don't want to deal with peds pts. None of my care plans were on acute pain. Most of them were on diabetes patients. I had to do PVA assessment, meds twice, neuro assessment, Abdominal assessment, skin assessment, lungs assessment, and patient teaching. Thanks to Tina's MOC I knew how to do them all. I failed my MOC with Tina because I missed my critical element in teaching. Well I didnot failed my CPNE.)))) It is very stressfull exam but you have to believe in yourself, stay focused, be positive and practice... practice every single day. I practiced every day for 2 months straight. I did worshop with Tina and one week prior my exam I did MOC with her again. I don't think I would be able to pass my exam without attending workshop and MOC. MOC gave me a lot of confidence and eliminated a lot of stress. Knowledge is the power.!!! Thank you Tina for your support. For your great workshop and MOC and of course for care plans group.
Thank you.
Yelena Zbinovsky GN...I love the GN part.
Well ... what can I say that hundreds haven't said before...Tina's workshop is a god-send and a blessing!! I've been an LPN since 1994, and I think I would have caved in due to nerves if not for the neumonics and careplan critiques that Tina provides her workshop students. CPNE is a very stressful time, but I knew that I had my organized " to do list" for each area of care thanks to the workshop. I have no regrets about driving 8 1/2 hours to PA and staying at a hotel for 3 days of "boot camp". I learned a lot and made new friends too. It is a great review of skills for the LPN's. Tina has inspired me to help other students prepare for the longest and most stressful 2 1/2-- 3 days of their nursing career. Thanks Tina for all your hard work!!

This is a message for anyone that wants to pass the cpne. Tina's NECPNE Workshop in Pa is intense and exhausting but so worth it. She will push you until you get it. She sets up everything just like what you see in the sims labs and even a mock hospital room. Her emphasis on care plans is what is needed to get "you in the door". You can't treat patients if your sitting in the break room. This is the one workshop to attend if you want to pass your cpne on the first attempt
Thanks Tina for all your help

Passed CPNE Mansfield November 2009
I attended Tina Logan's NECPNE workshop 3 months prior to my CPNE. I would not have passed without her, simple as that. She truly has the recipe for success, all you need to do is follow it. Memorize her mnemonics, set up your grid the way she tells you, and learn from her critiques of your careplans/narrative charting. She is the careplan queen! My CE's told me they were impressed with my organizational plan and thorough charting. I am truly thankful for Tina; let her passion for helping students succeed lead you to your goal.

Sarasota CPNE Nov. 2009
The NECPNE Workshop was a three day life altering experience. By “life altering”, I mean I finally passed the CPNE and passed it well. That was always my goal, but I failed the CPNE the first time. I asked a successful student at that CPNE what it took to pass this test the FIRST time. She told me, “Tina’s workshop!” “It’s in Pennsylvania!” I read about workshops before but thought with all the experience that I had as an LPN that I would not need to attend one. I have been an LPN for twenty-five years and I am in the 55+ age group. I was pretty confident in my labs and my patient care. After failing the CPNE, is no time to start THINKING about a workshop! I researched the NECPNE Workshop online and was very impressed with the three day itinerary. It covered everything I needed to pass the test. All the mnemonics I would need for all the areas of care, the charting and how to do a grid properly. Care plans that will get you into that patient’s room! You can’t pass a patient care situation in the hallway and the care plan has to be correct or NO ENTRY and it is a FAIL! There were lab stations to learn and practice at to boot! I found that all the materials needed to pass the CPNE were included in the price of the workshop and they were delivered to me two weeks before the workshop so I could look them over and be familiar with the itinerary and make my reservation at the lovely hotel where the workshop is held. Tina’s students get an unbelievably low per night rate for a suite! It even has its’ own kitchen! My husband and I drove to Wilkes-Barre the day before the workshop and settled in at the hotel.
Tina hosted a “Meet and Greet” at the restaurant across the parking lot from the hotel so we could all get acquainted the evening before the workshop. The class size is kept small so I believe there were eight of us. It was fun to share CPNE stories-good or bad! Everyone felt comfortable. We were all in the same boat! I met Tina Logan RN and as I call her, the nurse educator! She was candid and funny and full of life! She also passed the CPNE successfully so I knew that she had walked in our shoes! I was ready to give 100% at the workshop but what I found out was that Tina was going to give 200%. I believe she works to make sure that every one of her students passes. If you do what she tells you to do and learn what she tells you to learn, you will pass! Personally, I am not much of a joiner but that was okay with Tina. She knew I was learning anyway! At the workshop, we had real patients to practice on- each other! It was fun and we learned what to do and why. We learned to do the AOC’s the Excelsior way! The three days were long but wonderful. On the third day, Tina was a dear and took us all out for lunch. I was going to bring everything I learned home and really practice. The whole time I was practicing, Tina was teaching me the correct way to write care plans by e-mail. All of a sudden, my CPNE was only a month away! I could not bear to fail again! I called Tina and she said “Come on back!” to the workshop for two of the three days of the next session-FREE! She fine tuned all of the skills that I needed to work on-especially the AOC’S. My confidence was high and I went home and practiced the Tina Logan RN /Excelsior way. My CPNE went smoothly, I was confident! There were five of us testing. Two passed. I was one of them. See what I mean about Tina giving 200%? Now I am studying for the boards! Tina never gives up—she will get you there! Thanks Tina! You’re the best!

To those looking for help with the C.P.N.E,
The first thing that I would recommend is to pray…a lot! The second thing that I would recommend is to contact Tina Logan. I heard through everyone to contact Tina Logan for help, because she is the best. I began with the CAREPLAN GROUP that Tina does. What a great tool that is! I went from being a paramedic with no idea on how to correctly chart, to a person who had no problems with my charting during my C.P.N.E. Tina Logan gives you all the tools that you need to be successful for care planning in her CAREPLAN GROUP. If you had any questions about anything, she was always just a phone call away. I have never in my 33 years on this planet, seen someone with as much dedication to their students as Tina Logan. She impressed me so much through the CAREPLAN GROUP, that I attended her C.P.N.E workshop. I went into the workshop knowing that it was going to be great and she surpassed my every expectation. Tina Logan’s workshop is intense, informative, and a definite must do, for those who want to pass C.P.N.E. The way that she teaches you to chart makes sense, and if used properly, will help you not only to properly care for your patient, but to properly chart your care. When I started this nursing process, I’m glad that I listened to people, and learned from their experiences, but I am most thankful for the help that Tina Logan has given me. If you are serious about wanting to best prepare yourself for the C.P.N.E, look no further than Tina Logan! Take it from me, and the countless others who Tina has helped over the years. Contact Tina Logan…she can give you the tools to make your C.P.N.E a successful exam!
Good Luck and God Bless,

Workshop is too tame, this is a bootcamp. I wish I had taken it at least 6 months before my CPNE and then returned for a refresher just before I went off to test. When I had my date and study guide, I had no clue where to begin and did not do much of anything for a few months . Once I had taken the bootcamp, it became apparent that I needed to bust my butt to get thru the clinical. The workshop is it is intense and overwhelming at times, but everything will come together. Tina has helped me and encouraged me not to give in or give up. She has been there through the good and the bad, and you may not always like what you are told, in your heart you know that it is for your own good.
Thank you Tina! I don't think I could have passed the CPNE without you!

Tina:
I has been a pleasure working with you these last couple of years. You definetly motivate people and encourage us to finish our goals!
Your workshop was my best investment towards passing my CPNE. Other CPNE students who had never heard of a grid before after the first day of CPNE were gone. They were so over-whelmed. Your workshop taught us what to expect, how to use a grid (by the way tell all your new students that you can take the grid into the room with them--that was my first CPNE mistake.) I was trying to memorize everything I had to do and it was too much.
All of your extra scenarios, math questions and best of all while we are studying:
BEING ABLE TO CALL YOU ANYTIME!@!@! When we are stressed, losing it and out of control. You calmly put us back together and keep us going.
I would recommend your class to anyone that is thinking about taking a workshop.
You are great and I thank you for everything that you have helped me succeed in.........onwards and upwards!
